Those of you who have followed my blog, probably recognize the fountain where so many wild animals have stopped by for a drink.Well, after a few seasons without them, they are back, bigger and bolder than ever! I am talking cow, and a really big one at that.You see out here in Arizona we have what they call open range or free range laws. What this means is, if you don’t have a fence around your place (like me), grazing livestock, mainly of the bovine variety, can snack on any greenery you might have without fear of retribution. You see, thanks to antiquated 19th century laws, these critters have the right of way. Now ordinarily I don’t mind, but right over next to that palm plant close to Cowzilla’s haunch there is a hummingbird nest with two baby chicks who haven’t fledged yet!
